Reporting into the Regional Network Expansion Director, the Banking Execution Associate is responsible for running onboarding projects, completing annual compliance refreshes and executing documents within the Banking team. The Banking team grows and manages the network of Banks and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) which provide the underlying infrastructure (accounts, access to payments schemes, FX, etc) for Currencycloud to be able to provide its services. This role is important to the Banking team: you will ensure that we get set up in the right way with our new Bank/ PSP partners, and then remain compliant with their ongoing requirements. You will work closely with other members of the Banking team, responsible for network expansion and relationship management, as well as other functions across the business, including product, operations, compliance, finance and the executive team. 

The Details… 

Responsible for onboarding of banking and non-bank partners, managing the Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, Requests for Information (RFIs), account opening docs in line with the Banking discovery and onboarding processes

Managing the yearly partner KYC refreshes

Manage the authorisation and signature process of relevant account opening forms, contracts and other bank requests.

Support the existing banking partnership team with day-to-day partner management tasks, contract management, account opening & closing, yearly audit statements

Take responsibility and ownership of the application for all online banking platforms and systems; set up and user management

Support the product and operations team on queries related to a partner’s product & services

Ensure Currencycloud stakeholders have visibility of relevant information on partners through its intranet pages, confluence

Maintain and support the CRM systems that are being used or being developed

Develop and manage a strong connection and communication line between yourself and all relevant stakeholder in the wider business

Have a full understanding of the company structure, shareholders, stakeholders and the compliance process and procedures

Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product and the benefits it offers

Support in project work and other initiatives when requested

Skills and Experience…

At least 3 years’ experience within a project-management, execution, administration or similar role

Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders of all levels

Ability to take the initiative to get things across the line

The ability to work under pressure, be organised and have a clear methodology to how to manage priorities and workload

Structured and detail oriented

A self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done (“Own it”)

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Comfortable challenging the status quo and always curious about the way things work
