Marketplace Payment Service Providers gibt es viele. Vor allem Händler- und Kunden-freundliche Payment-Lösungen beeinflussen maßgeblich den Erfolg von Online-Marktplätzen. Es gibt unterschiedliche Lösungen und Anbieter dieser Vermittlungsplattformen, den sogenannten Marktplätzen. Dabei bilden sie teilweise ihr eigenes spezielles Ökosystem der Bezahlverfahren um gleichzeitig alle Parteien, Kunde sowie Händler, mit Zahlungs-und Bezahlmöglichkeiten zu versorgen. Marktplätze, und damit auch Marktplatz Payments, im Onlinebereich werden somit immer beliebter. Jedoch stellt die Zahlungsabwicklung den Betreiber eines Marktplatzes vor eine große Herausforderung. Die Umsetzung der Payment Prozesse im Marktplatzkontext bringt ein paar Fallstricke mit sich. Ob das Geschäftsmodell der Onlinehändler durch das Binden an eine jeweilige Martplatz-Payment Lösung besser wird, ist eine andere Frage. Wir haben die Anbieter und Experten in dem Bereich zusammengetragen.
